The PetSafe Venture series includes two collars, the PDT00-11876 and PDT00-11877. Both of these are designed for larger breed dogs with a weight of 40 pounds and above. You will be able to train your dog to stay by your side without a leash which is ideal for being out in open terrain.
These are a remote training collar that allows you to be in total control by the push of a button to send a static correction that is annoying to the dog, but completely safe and not harmful. The transmitter has a 1000 yard range, far longer than most other remote dog training collars.
