Different Programs in the SportDOG bark collar:
- Program 1 is the default program. When you dog starts barking, the shock level starts on the lowest level, and escalates until the dog stops barking. It then remembers the level necessary to stop the barking, and will begin the next time at this level.
- Program 2 starts at the lowest level and escalates until your dog stops, but with this Program, the next time your dog barks, it starts again at the lowest level.
- Program 3 just gives the same shock each time your dog barks.
Another unique feature of the SportDog collar is that it requires both a sound from your dog and also the vibration of the bark from your dog to activate the collar. This reduces both flase discharges and also other dogs that are close by your dog that are barking.
